Modèles de gouvernance et développement de l'immobilier en station de montagne. Analyse comparée de Crans-Montana (Valais, Suisse) et de Mont-Tremblant (Québec, Canada)
Abstract. Based on two case studies (Crans-Montana in Switzerland and Mont-Tremblant in Canada), this contribution examines how mountain resorts actors fit to the internationalization of the tourism real estate market. Having described the evolution of the land use and the tourist accommodation structure as well as the measures taken by the local actors in these domains for both analyzed resorts, we can draw some lessons regarding the influence of governance model on land use and real estate structure based on the distinction “community model – corporate model”. The article ends in a call to undertake more research in the field of governance of tourist places.
