De l'adéquation de la conception des stations de sports d'hiver à la demande touristique contemporaine
Abstract. The tourist economy generated by ski resorts is essential to the territories where they have developed. However, it is now well acknowledged that their future remains very uncertain. This is partly due to the evolution of tourists' flows but also to the mutations of their demand and expectations. With a study of tourist demand across four different resorts and with the authors' in-depth knowledge of ski resorts' history, this article will explore the resorts' strengths and weaknesses, and their potential capabilities to adapt to this evolution.
