Senior Event Manager - Healthcare Business Unit

Reporting to the Healthcare BU Director, you will lead healthcare event projects from initial pitch through post-event evaluation. You'll manage project teams, own client relationships, drive new business development, and ensure flawless project execution across France and international markets.

Project Management & Delivery

• Lead cross-functional project teams (internal staff, freelancers, vendors) throughout the project lifecycle
• Develop detailed project plans including timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies
• Manage project budgets and track KPIs,
• Oversee and build Cvent sites for registration, attendee management, and reporting
• Conduct pre-event planning meetings and site inspections
• Supervise on-site execution to ensure seamless delivery
• Deliver post-event analysis and client debriefs

Client Relations & Account Management

• Serve as primary client contact throughout each project
• Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain strong client satisfaction scores
• Identify upsell opportunities and contribute to account growth
• Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical industry regulations

Business Development

• Respond to RFPs with strategic, competitive proposals
• Develop venue sourcing strategies, creative programming, and event design concepts
• Leverage experience with key accounts to win similar high-value projects
• Present proposals and budgets in client meetings
• Support BU Director  in new business pitches

Team Leadership

• Manage and mentor one or more Event Managers
• Conduct performance evaluations and support team development with the BU Account Director
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives
