A live-in hospitality opportunity is available for a reliable, hands-on professional ready for a lifestyle move to France.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in hotels, gastropubs, boutique inns, guesthouses, chalets, or front-of-house operations who is used to hard work, solving problems fast, and maintaining high standards independently.

The successful candidate will live on site in a private residence used for short guest stays and occasional owner visits. The role combines guest relations, housekeeping oversight, operational support, and day-to-day property care.

This is a solo live-in position, best suited to someone practical, calm, guest-focused, and comfortable taking full responsibility.

Main Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and manage smooth check-ins/check-outs
• Be the on-site contact for guest requests and occasional issues
• Cleaning and laundry
• Inspect the property before and after each stay
• Spot and report maintenance issues quickly

Keep standards consistently high to support excellent reviews

• Ensure the residence remains tidy, organised, and guest-ready at all times

Experience in one or more of the following:

• Hotel duty management
• Reception or front office supervision
• Live-in pub or inn management
• Guesthouse or B&B hosting
• Chalet hosting
• Housekeeping supervision
• Concierge or residence management

A practical mindset, common sense, and strong hospitality instincts matter more than formal qualifications.
